Home Blessing Prayer - Assyrian / Aramaic - Classical Esṭrangēlā Script

A must for every home. In Christianity blessing a home is an ancient tradition that can be found in both the Old and New Testament. Many Christians when moving into a new home, or after renovating an old one, like to offer the house to God, and ask for a blessing on those who live within it, or might visit.

This blessing prayer, commonly referred to as the Trinity Prayer, is from the Divine Liturgy of Mar Addai and Mar Mari, the blessed Apostles of the Lord, which is in regular use in the Assyrian Church of the East. Recited after the sealing prayer, this benediction is chanted by the entire congregation as a blessing for the Church.

The prayer is commonly used in a modified version for homes and is made available here in a resplendent design.

English Translation:

The Trinity that blessed the righteous believers and forefathers;
bless this home, and may it be blessed now and for ever.
Protect 0 my Lord those who dwell in it from all harm and tribulations,
let it be full of all blessings, like the House of Abraham.
And increase and multiply its benefits like that of the house of righteous Job (Eyou),
and may it be protected by the prayers of the Holy Virgin Mary from now and for ever.
